In order to automate and reduce customers' first time deployment, Voipappz developed an automatic "wizard" to help admin and support staff reduce setup time and mistakes.
Terms Used:
- Service Type - the actual resource the will be provided to the customer. It may be:a Bridge, a Notification, Early Media, a Number, a shared DID or an Allocated (private) DID
- Bridge - Types: Extension, IVR, Queue, Route or Conference
- Notification - a trigger to send a notification such as en email
- Early Media - a voice announcement
- DID - a SIP Provider
- Number - a DID number or Service allocation
- Allocate DID - a SIP Provider
- Plan - a collection of service items with a tariff and a period until they expire
- Subscription - an allocated plan, sold to a customer with the agreed tariff and period
Notes:
- the Services and Plans are normally predefined on the system
- they are reusable and can be sold to several customers
- a customer may have several plans
- but not 2 identical plans
Note that this document is intended for system admins who should be familiar with them.
Purchase a plan
Note that it is assumed the customer (Environment) is already defined on the system. If not, follow this Link (xxx) to define the customer.
List of Subscriptions (active and terminated)
To purchase a new Subscription press "+New".
Creating a new purchase of an existing plan
- enter a meaningful Name
- Select the customer environment
- Select the tariff
- Select the period the service should be active
- Select the account manager (administrator) email
- Select Plan
- Optionally - Select the + icon (useful for fine tuning the plan) and customize
- press Create
